Their kids never whine. Their meals are always balanced and their inboxes always empty. I thrive on using my email as a filing cabinet.
It works for me. I can search and find anything I need. Every time I try to organize my email, I end up losing things.

These two were perfect together. Rating 4 out of 5 Read Book Jul 18, Becky rated it really liked it Shelves: arc , contemporary. Funny, fun, and sweet!
So, so many highlighted passages gotta love ebooks! I had an absolute ball reading Gina and Rick's story. Their banter was just too funny, and some of the situations Gina got herself and often by extension, Rick into were laugh-out-loud.
I may even have snort-laughed once or twice. Or possibly three times. But I digress Gina and Rick have the best kind of opposites attract story here--she's a rule-bender with a long-standing dislike of cops, especially by-the-books Funny, fun, and sweet!
Gina and Rick have the best kind of opposites attract story here--she's a rule-bender with a long-standing dislike of cops, especially by-the-books ones; and he's the cop who was the stick-to-the-letter-of-the-law hall monitor in fifth grade and who hasn't changed much in the interim.
Well, except for all the muscles. And the total hotness. And the actual growing up. But other than that, he's pretty much the same guy.
What the hell? She and her body needed to have a serious talk about who it was allowed to be attracted to. An anal-retentive cop was not supposed to be on the menu.
Resistance, of course, is futile. And soon both Gina and Rick find themselves doing things they never thought they would--like when Rick takes Gina home to meet his family and all FOUR sisters!
Don't knock it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd rather be sitting around watching a game of a movie than a stationary truck that no one has looked twice at the whole time we've been watching.
But, you know, your thing is fun, too. So much craziness and love. Dare we hope that Rick's two unmarried sisters might have their own books in there somewhere?
Or at least Jenny? Really, it's the characters and their interactions that make this story what it is--a highly entertaining way to spend a few hours.
I'd honestly love to spend time with any or all of them in person--if they actually existed. Well, not Alejandro of the rat cartel so much.
But everyone else Gina and Rick were adorable together, and so much fun to root for. Though the event that triggers their ultimate reconciliation is a bit clunky, the actual we-need-to-get-back-together scene was fantastic and the epilogue triggers all kinds of feels.
Though it's the second in the series, it worked just fine as a standalone. Book one in the series has already been added to my TBR, and I will definitely be doing the same for the rest of her backlist!
Jun 17, Elizabeth Neal rated it it was amazing. Gina is determined to find out who keeps breaking into her cupcake truck, Street Treats, that she owns with her best friend, Nat.
Bogetti approved as her older neighbor keeps loudly verbalizing her displeasure with Gina's spying and using her fire escape as her "hideout.
Bogetti, without proof, because nothing has been stolen and only a mess is being left behind, the Gina is determined to find out who keeps breaking into her cupcake truck, Street Treats, that she owns with her best friend, Nat.
Bogetti, without proof, because nothing has been stolen and only a mess is being left behind, the police won't do anything.
Unfortunately, Mrs. Bogetti disagrees and decides to call the cops, thereby helping Gina and getting her off the fire escape.
Officer Rick Boyd is used to Mrs. B calling the cops for everything, yet he can't help but be amused, and attracted to, the reason for the most recent call.
As Rick and his partner, Joe, escort Gina home, at Rick's insistence, the "discussion" regarding Gina's surveillance continues and she quite possibly might have spied with her little eye something in the police car that could definitely help her "investigation.
What ensues is a lively debate on Gina's actions and an encounter that only strengthens their already intense attraction to each other. Rick offers to help Gina with her spying as she tries to catch the culprit, who she believes is her ex-boyfriend, Tony.
As they spend more time together, they realize they're enjoying each other's company and the growing connection between them only fuels their desire for one another.
But as he learns more about her, he also discovers the emotionally painful reason for her avoidance of all things law enforcement and she starts to understand why he tends to be so disciplined when it comes to follow the rules.
Are Rick and Gina's completely opposite outlooks on life too great to overcome? Is their relationship doomed to fail before it truly begins?
Or can these two see that their differences not only make life interesting, but also make them perfect for each other?
Can Rick prove that he's not just a cop, but also the man for her? Can Gina show Rick that life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest and that you don't always have to follow the rules?
Will they catch the person responsible for vandalizing her cupcake truck? Will they get their HEA? One-click now to follow along as by-the-book Rick and I-believe-in-gray-areas Gina find their way to a future filled with laughter, happiness, and a love that burns brighter than the sun.
Please keep in mind this is the second book of the series and I highly recommend reading them in order as previous characters are mentioned in this story.
Plus, it's a great book as well and I absolutely loved it. I'm looking forward to Jared's, Eric's best friend, story. I'm curious to see who he'll fall in love with and the journey they'll take towards their future.
Aug 04, Pavitra For The Love of Fictional Worlds rated it really liked it Shelves: arc , adult-fiction , romance , contemporary-romance , rom-com.
This Book delivers and boy does it deliver! From the first encounter, I adored the MC's connections to each other - not only was it hilarious but it was heartwarming as well!
And it is one romance that became my companion during a rainy day with a cup of coffee in my hand! She was chaos. Boisterous, rule-breaking, authority-hating, crazy-streaked-hair chaos.
Everything about her confused him. Gina Silvano is a woman on a mission to find out who is vandalizing her cupcake truck - and no one, not even a nosy old lady or a rule touting cop will stop her from proving that her douche of an ex is the culprit.
She is one of the more fun heroines I have read about in recent times - she takes no excuses for her behavior and neither is she apologizing for it.
But best of all, she was mature enough to compromise on things that needed a compromise without loosing herself in process. Rick Boyd is a rule following cop - he is almost rigidly set in his ways - but it is easy to his point - he might follow the rules, but he does with the intention of actually protecting the public, even if they are the ones at fault.
He is rigid, she is free. He cares that laws are meant to be followed, she takes laws to be more of an advice. They are total opposites of each other, not just in looks, but in personality.
And their feelings aren't hindered by the superficial. I adored the characterizations and their romance.

I should prayerfully make a list of everything I wanted in a man and pray that list. I have been doing that for 20 years now. I need encouragement and prayer.
Hi I enjoyed reading this blog today. I stumbled upon it after browsing Pinterest. I have my qualities that I pray for but I have never written them down but reading your blog makes me feel that this is what I should do and that my prayers needs to be a bit more earnest and consistent.
I have had my share of broken hearts and broken spirit and I always cry and feel like giving up but in the end hope always prevails, some may feel like there is no one out there for them but that is not the feeling I have within me.
I feel that is God telling me he has someone for me but just like you he wants me to draw nearer to him to love and trust him more before he places that person in my life.
Please pray for me as I pray for you all. Thanks for sharing your beautiful story it brings me hope! Sherry, thank you so much for taking the time to read this post!
I am praying with you! God bless. Thank you so much for this article. Either way, this article really made me cry out to God again.
The fear and anxiety has been so so tiring. But I believe that things are going to change. I hope they will change in my circumstances and that the Lord will rebuke my enemy, but I know for certain that they will change in my heart.
There is a reason. God is so so good. Even here and even now. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Thank you for sharing your testimony. God hears our prayers and He answers them. And God loves us. Skip to content. Share this: Twitter Facebook.

Want to keep your garden organized without buying dividers at the hardware store? Fill a planter with as many toilet paper rolls as you can fit without squishing them , put some dirt and seeds in each one, and water them regularly.
This will keep your plants neatly organized in a confined space, and those cardboard tubes will eventually disintegrate into the soil over time.
If your wrapping paper tends to unroll itself, there's an easy solution. Just take a toilet paper roll and put it over the wrapping paper roll—that way, the end won't have room to unravel.
Those grimy HVAC registers are easily cleaned—in your dishwasher! Just pop them off, run them through a quick rinse cycle, and dry them thoroughly before reinstalling.
If your air conditioner's filters are tough to clean, let your vacuum do the hard work for you. Simply attach the crevice tool and vacuum up all that lint and dirt you'd otherwise have to rinse off, risking a drain clog in the process.
Those AC vents on your car are so small, they're almost impossible to get dust-free. Fortunately, a pipe cleaner can quickly remove all that dust in seconds, getting into areas traditional dusters can't reach.
If your baseboard heaters are screaming "clean me" but your back is saying "forget about it," there's an easy solution: compressed air. Simply aim the can at the offending heater and that dust will come off in seconds.
Finding that your lint rollers are doing little to combat your pet hair problems? Take out that squeegee you typically use to clean off your car windshield and the hair will come up with ease.
If you've spilled candle wax on a piece of furniture, don't risk ruining the finish by trying to scrape it up. Simply fill a plastic bag with ice cubes, put it over the wax, and let it sit for a few minutes.
Once the wax has sufficiently cooled and hardened, you can pick it up easily. If you've accidentally dripped candle wax onto your carpet, there is hope yet.
First, put a paper bag down over the wax, then lightly go over the affected area with a steam iron. The steam will help lift the wax from the carpet and allow it to cling to the bag instead.
If you find your fitted sheets slipping off the corners of your bed, look no further than your closet for an easy fix.
